Peak’s Power Skating programs focus mainly on mobility and agility. It is important to establish proper edge control, balance, and weight transfer to improve skating efficiency. Improving a player’s skating efficiency is a process that begins with learning proper technique and then gradually increasing the speed and power at each player’s learning rate to get maximum results. It is important to identify, isolate, correct and then repeat, and repeat, and repeat, to enforce proper muscle memory. In today's game, there is constant change in speed and direction. At Peak, we focus on these aspects from the ground up and are committed to building a proper baseline for our players to reach their fullest potential.
